World Cup Viewing Centres Have Created Over 110 Jobs – John Dumelo
The establishment of FIFA World Cup viewing centres across communities has created more than 110 direct and indirect jobs, according to Ghana's Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture and Member of Parliament, John Dumelo. Speaking on the economic impact of the ongoing football spectacle, Dumelo highlighted how the viewing centres have become more than just gathering places for football fans. He noted that they are also serving as important sources of employment and income generation for young people and small business owners. According to him, the initiative has provided opportunities for a wide range of workers, including event organizers, security personnel, vendors, technicians, ticket attendants, and food sellers.
