 Festivus is that special time of year when we gather around the aluminum pole and do what the season demands: air our grievances.

 In that spirit, here are ten modern frustrations that many of us are ready to get off our chests.

1. Meetings That Could’ve Been Emails
   If a 45-minute meeting produces one sentence of information, something has gone terribly wrong.

2. Apps That Keep Updating for No Reason
   Just when you finally learn where everything is, an update arrives and moves all the buttons.

3. “Limited Time Offer” That Never Ends
   If the sale has been running since January, it’s not limited—it’s misleading.

4. Customer Service Bots That Don’t Help
   Typing “agent” twelve times only to be told to restart your device is a special kind of suffering.

5. Traffic Caused by Nothing
   No accident. No construction. Just brake lights and confusion.

6. Passwords With Impossible Rules
   Uppercase, lowercase, number, symbol, haiku, and the name of your first pet—yet still “too weak.”

7. Streaming Services Raising Prices Constantly
   More money, fewer shows you actually want to watch.

8. People Who Don’t Return Shopping Carts
   Society has rules. This is one of them.

9. Group Chats That Never End
   You mute it, yet somehow you’re still mentally exhausted by it.

10. Being Busy but Not Productive
    The day is gone, you’re tired, and somehow nothing important got done.

There. The grievances have been aired. Festivus can now continue as intended—with relief, laughter, and perhaps feats of strength.
